2. God does not solve the question of where the universe came from - One commonly provided argument for the existence of God is that the universe had to start somehow and that somehow is God. However, this comes from a perception that the universe had to come from somewhere. However, if the universe had to come from somewhere, didn't God? One could respond by saying that God had no creator because he or she is eternal. But, can't the universe be eternal? As you can see, the argument that God was the cause for the creation of the universe does not seem to hold much ground. BIG BANG THEORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
